my new shop and a few other website changes
It's here! My new shop.
I've added some of my favorite paintings, including the new bouquets.
Like all of my website, this is a work in progress. I'll probably be switching things up a bit over time. Tinker, tinker, tinker. Speaking of tinkering, I've been tinkering with my about page, too.
The "Press and Exhibitions" page is now integrated into this main about page. And I added some feedback from my customers, too. (It was fun to read, again, the kind words of those of you who are enjoying my art. I really appreciate your business and that you took the time to leave reviews for your purchases on Etsy).
So, go take a look. I'd love to know what you think. Is it easy to navigate? Are there features you wish it had? I have more plans in the works for my site and knowing what YOU are looking for would be so helpful.
Oh, and I want to thank YOU, too. Each of you who read this little blog of mine and leave comments here or over on Instagram or elsewhere on the Internet. I appreciate all of the encouragement and support.

Oh, Anne - its beautiful! Your shop looks so fresh and pretty with all your artwork displayed simply. I clicked through a couple of pieces and the links work perfectly. Its a lovely showcase of your talents and I hope will bring you lots of sales. You've worked hard on this and it shows!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Sharon! I really appreciate you encouragement and kind words!
DeleteGood luck with your new shop Anne. I am off to take a peak! :-)
ReplyDeleteIt's me again! I've just popped back to say that your new flower paintings are exceptionally good - so vibrant and full of life! :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Simone! :) Your encouragement and support mean a lot to me!
DeleteThat is such a wise move! Online stores should be more tightly integrated and built, and responsive at the same time. These are the times where it is important to put all things in a single basket, so that they can all be collectively received and understood. In any way, thanks for sharing that, Anne! More power to you and your creative business!

DeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteI am so excited for you and your new shop! Yippee!
It looks lovely.
I will be taking a little blog break, I wanted to stop in and wish you a Happy Easter as well.
Carla
Thanks, Carla! You are so sweet!
DeleteWishing you a Happy Easter as well. Enjoy the time away from the computer!!
I've always loved browsing through your blog, and all the illustrations in it have been a sight to see. All of your paintings are lovely, and I highly admire your patience for working on those tiny details. The illustration of the strawberry is so beautiful, Anne. I'm glad you decided to open up a new shop. Thanks for sharing that! Kudos and more power to you! :)

I like how your blog theme is also the same as the theme in your website. It already looks fantastic, so why change it, right? I also love how simple your paintings are, they don’t strain my eyes and they are very relaxing and calming to look at. I’m guessing it emits such a serene sense of calmness because you chose to focus on painting flowers on pots, and it’s often very relaxing to see beautiful flowers. Cheers to you and your shop!
