30 Paintings 30 Days, Day 2: A Ripening Tomato
I wasn't sure what I was going to paint today and I was a little worried about it. But then, when I was in the kitchen making coffee I saw the many tomatoes on the windowsill and counter. It was an easy decision after that.
This one got bumped off one of the plants. It's ripening. Changing from green to red just like some of the leaves on the maple tree in the backyard. A fitting choice for this time of year.
The whole time I was painting this I kept getting whiffs of the fragrance of the nasturtium flowers still on my table. Few things sweeter to savor than these end of summer garden and painting moments.

Love the painting a day challenge. Are you impressed by my comment via the old iPhone???
ReplyDeleteThanks. :) And, yes! I am impressed!
DeleteI like how the red and green paint seem to effortlessly blend into each other. :-)
