And a bit like cooking... a little of this, a little of that.

Have a wonderful week ahead!
xoAnne Buterahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04090778223286237879noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3042521780804023798.post-5745932912541073732017-03-12T10:21:22.171-05:002017-03-12T10:21:22.171-05:00Thanks, Simone!

I've never really gotten into watercolor pencils, but I have a set of Inktense pencils that I want to play with a bit. The colors are very bright once activated with water and they also (supposedly) become permanent then, too.

Hope you have a great week!Anne Buterahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04090778223286237879noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3042521780804023798.post-42104783628791376042017-03-11T07:51:05.005-06:002017-03-11T07:51:05.005-06:00Enjoyed this post. Made my swatches, but have not had time yet to really sit down and spend time with them. They seem lovely and I'm looking forward to experimenting with them. I will be standing by for your paper and brushes posts. Have a great weekend.TAChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04983776517199788755noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3042521780804023798.post-19826870744701053582017-03-11T02:18:12.226-06:002017-03-11T02:18:12.226-06:00You certainly do an excellent job of mixing colors...You certainly do an excellent job of mixing colors, Anne. The paints I use are Kuretake which are lovely and shiny and Winsor and Newton's Cotman range. I also use W H Smith artist quality watercolour pencils. What paper do you use Anne? I tend to use the rough surface paper but I think I might try the smooth one (hot pressed?). I love to see your paint palette with all the delicious paint colours you have mixed up. Your pink flower is beautiful and you have achieved a delicate transparency in the petals. Have a great art filled weekend. :)Simonehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02766240849932971541noreply@blogger.com
