violas and a first sale in my painting shop
Do you love them, too?
To me, they are one of those flowers that are the joyful epitome of spring. A much needed shot of color when I'm ready (or more than ready) for some color.
This year when I visited the garden center all I could think was how much I wanted to paint them.
And so I did.
Now that painting of those violas in their pot is in my shop.
And speaking of my painting shop, I had my first sale this past weekend.
This painting is on its way to its new home in Brooklyn, New York!

Wow, your Viola painting is amazing, so much detail that its as if I could pick them out of the picture. Well done on your first sale! You've inspired me to try painting the gorgeous spring blooms that are appearing in our garden. I must go out and take some photos too.
