joy in june day 3 -- surprise iris
(Makes me think of the song, "Surprise Ice", which is now in my head. I'm glad not to be having ice, but irises).
It's fun finding out what's growing in my new garden. I waited with baited breath to see what color (ends up colors!) the lilac is and then the peonies and now this iris. I love this time of year.
