Artist Profile -- Jenny Jo of Pet Chicken Ranch
I am so excited to introduce you to Jenny and the girls of Pet Chicken Ranch.
Jenny lives in Petaluma, California keeps a small flock of chickens and creates the most beautiful art dolls. I enjoy following her on Instagram, seeing the antics of her sweet flock and watching her creations take shape.
Her flock of hens are her inspiration, her muse.
And they are her dear friends.
I can't remember the first time I stumbled upon Jenny's creations, but it was love at first sight.
Her sewn chickens are not only beautifully crafted with a careful attention to detail, but each one also captures a unique spirit and personality.
She carefully chooses just the right combination of fabrics with rich colors and patterns and textures to make each chick special.
I love how she creates fluffy beards for her bearded chicks.
And I adore the fluffy chicken butts!
Her creativity and artistic vision are clearly visible in each and every chicken she creates. It is also clear that she creates them with an immense amount of passion and love.
Aren't you smitten now, too?
You can follow Jenny Jo on Facebook and Instagram. Take a look at her Etsy Shop, too (scroll through her sales to see more of the sweet chickens she's created).
Update! You can now find Jenny Jo and her work on her website Pet Chicken Ranch.
