One down...

What with errands, laundry and a bit of cleaning I only finished one of the purses.  Then there was dinner at the home of some of Matthias' students last night (such a sweet couple! and amazing food!).  And today was a date day.  Breakfast at my favorite diner, the new Harry Potter movie, walks with Holden and (soon) cooking dinner together.  Tomorrow is my last day in Cleveland and I'm starting to get sad about leaving now that it's not so far off anymore.

But my purse!

I am loving it, even though it's a bit amorphous and large (not my usual style).  I love the vintage barkcloth (curtain) with its sweet birds and flowers.  And I really love how the lining fabric coordinated.  It's a Jennifer Paganelli print that was on clearance.  Not at all what I had in mind, but I think it works.

I also like how the covered button and fabric loop turned out.

I need to take some better photos, but these will have to do for now.

Oh, and one of my bracelets was featured in an Etsy treasury today.

  2. The two fabrics work wonderfully together. Beautiful!

Did you enjoy the new Harry Potter? Hubbie & I saw end of last week & loved it. Even though I've read the last book twice I was still completely engrossed and lost in the fantasy.
