old friends

Right now I'm waiting for Alison to arrive for a weekend visit.  She and I have known each other since first grade.

This hilarious photo of us is from a brownie father-daughter breakfast.  Third grade maybe?

Of my old school friends, I'm only still in touch with Alison and with Jenny.  The three of us try to get together whenever we can.  Unfortunately Jenny can't come up this weekend to join us.

Here's another hilarious photo of Alison, me and also Jenny.  I'm the one looking at the camera with a red balloon coming out of my head.  Jenny's farthest to the left and Alison is farthest to the right.

We weren't unhappy kids, but it sure looks like it from these photos.

My favorite old photo of Jenny and Alison is an ice skating photo.  I ice skated for a while (and have a scar on my chin to prove it) but not with Jenny and Alison.  The two of them were in quite a few ice shows together.  Alison's on the left and Jenny's on the right.

Love it.

A couple summers ago we took some silly photos of the three of us.  Sure looks like we know how to have more fun as adults than we did as kids.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend!
