100th Post Giveaway!

This is my 100th post on Blogger.  I started this blog at the end of October last year, not long after moving to the farm and not long after opening my Etsy shop.  In November I jumped into the Art Every Day Month challenge and that's when I first started to meet other bloggers.

This blog has documented my artistic journey as I experimented with paint (and even took an e-course), spent hour after hour crocheting, wrote some poetry and short stories and survived my first Wisconsin winter.  I've accomplished a lot, but I have lots more ahead of me.  (The baby chicks and ducklings are arriving in less than three weeks!).

One of the best things about this blog is all of the wonderful people that I've met through it.  There's such a feeling of support and encouragement and collective enthusiasm in the blogging world.  I am so very grateful for each and every kind, thoughtful, inspiring comment that I receive here and for the very real sense of community that I've discovered.

To celebrate my 100th post to celebrate this wonderful community, I am having another giveaway.  I had such fun in February when I shared the love with my first giveaway and I'm very excited to be doing it again.  This time I'm giving away one of my popcorn stitch bracelets:

This one, the Cantaloupe Fruit Salad Crocheted Cuff Bracelet, is made from a lovely, soft baby yarn of an acrylic and polyamide blend.  It consists of five rows of bobbles that secure with four round pearly buttons and crocheted loop closures.  It measures approximately 7 ½” long and 2 ¼” wide.

I love this one so much that after making one for my shop, I had to make another.  I hope you'll like it, too.

So, to enter the giveaway, just leave a comment on this post telling me something that you'd like to see me write about in one of my next 100 posts.  On Wednesday, May 18th I'll pick the winner.  The giveaway is open to anyone, with or without a blog, long-time or new reader.

Thank you and good luck!

As I´m going towards winter my first list had all crochet and wool related projects.
The birds sound cool, specially since I don´t think I´ll ever have them home and I´ll live vicariously through you. :D
Your photography is stunning and your place is delightful.
Basically, I´d like to know more about you, what you do and your surroundings.

  4. Yay congrats! I would love to see more posts about random daily farm life. Maybe I'm boring but I find rural living so interesting! I'm a small town girl living in the big city so I think it gives me a hint of nostalgia :)

Let's see - I would love to see you write about the fruit trees in your orchard. That seems so wonderful to me, to actually plant an orchard!
Possibly you'll do a watercolor of one of the trees?
I'm so glad to have met you through AEDM, with the added bonus of getting to know your wonderful mom. That farmhouse of yours is brimming with talent and it's a joy to read your blog!
