surrounded by butterflies

Hello, there. How's your week been going? I loved hearing about your inspirations. It's so interesting to me. And thanks for mentioning me as an inspiration. You are the sweetest!

This week I have been finding loads of inspiration from nature. I'm always inspired by nature, but this week has been especially beautiful. Flowers, flowers and more flowers and because of the flowers... butterflies! The monarchs are finally here. I was starting to worry because I hadn't seen many this summer, but now I see more monarchs than anything else.

They're loving the butterfly bushes and the tall verbena (Verbena bonariensis). Good thing I've let the verbena self seed all over the place.

There's something magical about walking into a garden filled with the flutter of butterflies.

You can't help but feel happy. And inspired.

Had to do a quick watercolor of a monarch today.

And now I have a bunch more butterfly inspiration because a sweet, crafty friend made a huge collection of die cut butterflies for me.

Oh, the possibilities!

Wishing you a beauty, inspiration and Joy filled weekend!
