lately
Lately I've been painting. And I guess it's not surprising that I'm choosing to paint my houseplants because I'm a bit houseplant obsessed at the moment.
Apple scented geranium:
Miniature violet:
Ok, not a houseplant, but a little something I picked up on a walk that had been waiting for me to paint it:
A tiny Hoya lacunosa cutting:
I've got lots more planned.
Hope you're having a good week!

What pretty paintings! They look like the ones in your previous post from books on plants. Painting plants is a great way to have flowers in winter :)
ReplyDeleteThey are PERFECT Anne!! Will you please start selling them? You need to do that and make a book too!!!! Please!!
ReplyDeleteI love both the fact that you have house plants and that you paint them!
ReplyDeleteI can do neither. *sigh* Oh, well! I must have other talents. :D
Wonderful Anne! I have loved seeing your paintings evolve over the months. Fresh, vibrant and thoughtfully painted.
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful. I love that you painted your plants! Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful paintings, Anne! I especially love the miniature violets in a pretty cup! You certainly have a way with plants, in more ways than one!
ReplyDeleteI have missed seeing you at PPF, and just saw your name on etsy, so I came by to see what you have been up to. Your delicate watercolors of your beloved plants are even more wonderful.
