Joy List Monday

I haven't done a Joy list in a while, so I thought today would be a good day for it.

I'm giving myself permission to be a bit lazy today and it feels good. It's a little dreary, perfect for curling up with a good book. Pure luxury. Here's the rest of my list:

• being involved in the wedding of one of my oldest and dearest friends this past weekend (I took almost no photos of the weekend and for that I am very sad!)
• seeing some other old, dear friends at the wedding
• cardinals frolicking in the hophornbeam tree outside the window
• plans and schemes in the works (more on that soon)
• dogsitting for Matthias' dad's greyhound which means we have a house full of dogs (well, 3)
• the beauty of the beginning of autumn
• a recent custom order 
• being able to still eat from the garden (which I hope will last a bit longer)
