Savor Summer -- Joy List Monday

It's the last week of my Savor Summer campaign here on my blog. I'm trying not to worry that despite my best efforts this month has flown by. For you, too?

But I'm still savoring. And it's time for a joy list:

joy journal, joy list, joy list monday, savor summer, Anne Butera, My Giant Strawberry, snapdragons

  • cool mornings before hot days
  • cut flowers all over the house
  • taking back roads on an errand and enjoying the beauty of where I live
  • peaches
  • hummingbirds, butterflies & bees enjoying my garden
  • handfulls of cherry tomatoes every day
  • long walks with the dogs
  • remembering to savor moments of stillness
What's bringing you joy today?

  1. I agree Anne, this month has flown by! I feel at least that we have made a concerted effort to make the most of July and I thank you for suggesting the savor summer posts to me. I love your joy list and the pretty flowers in the photo. Enjoy the rest of July! :-)

  2. Peaches...yes, what a treat.
All the beautiful flowers. What a great summer for flowers. All of the wildflowers are doing so well here. We have received rain every week keeping everything green.

  3. I'm loving your joy list - its a mirror to what brings me joy these days. There was a recipe in the paper today for a Caprese salad that incorporated peaches, tomatoes, buffalo mozzerella and substituted mint for the basil. Sounds like the taste of summer to me, so I'm going to make it with my garden mint this weekend :) You too? Enjoy your week.

    1. Thanks, Sharon. Hmmm... not sure about the fruits and mint. I'm loving the basil lately and might just keep indulging with that. Mmmm... making my stomach grumble just thinking about it. Lunch time can't come soon enough!

Have a great rest of your week!
